Senator Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) awkwardly hugs his lesbian granddaughter as a gesture of “hate the sin not the sinner”. Being gay is not a sin, but rage, a deadly sin, certainly is prevalent at these hate rallies. No one chooses to be gay. Why would someone choose that in the face of discrimination? Did Senator Twatmouth choose to be straight? Did you? Can you describe what it was like deciding to be heterosexual? My mother thought I was gay as early as two years old. Sexual attraction is part of everyone’s physiology, mine is just different than yours. Attraction is a physical trait, similar to hair color. “Ex-gays” can dye their hair, but it will always be gay at the root.
